Monster Headphones
In 2009, Monster Cable entered the headphone business by creating a new headphone line in partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre. The first headphone produced, the Beats Studio, is a collaboration between Monster, Dr. Dre and Interscope Chairman Jimmy Lovine. Monster later followed with the launch of a branded headphone, the Monster Turbine In-Ear Headphone, and has subsequently gone on to develop additional branded and co-branded headphone lines including Beats by Dr. Dre Solo, Beats by Dr. Dre Tour, Heartbeats by Lady Gaga, Butterfly by Vivienne Tam, Diddybeats from Diddy, Miles Davis Tribute, Jamz with DJ Skee, Lil Jamz, and the Monster Turbine Pro Gold and Copper audiophile headphones.
Monster Music
In 1988 Monster Cable launched Monster Music, a record production company and music label. In Monster Music’s early years it released albums for artists including Michael Jackson and his sound engineer Bruce Swedien on the album Bad and all his following albums, Midnight Voices, Bare Bones, Shawn Morrison, Gene Clark, and The Looters, as well as a number of compilation disks. In more recent years Monster Music has released albums for George Benson & Al Jarreau , Ray Charles, and 3 Doors Down. Most recently Monster Music has been known for releasing recordings in high definition surround sound on DVD media .
